The department offers the following courses:

• B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. (4 year, full time) affiliated to the University of Calicut (intake: 66 plus 6 as Lateral entry in the third semester)

• M.Tech(Computational Linguistic) (2 year, Full time), with an intake of 18 seats

 The computing facilities in the department include latest desktops, laptops and Server class machines, Thin client networks and Apple-eMac systems among others. The Central Internet facility and the Web services for the college are maintained by the department.

Software resources include popular Operating systems such as Linux (several flavours), Mac OS, and Novell Netware, Databases such as Oracle 9i and Development tools like Visual Studio 6.

 A small department library functions to cater to the needs of CSE students.

The following short-term courses have been successfully conduced by the department.

• Introduction to C programming

• Win 32 programming using Windows SDK

• STTP on Open Source Framework for Advanced Technology Development

• Training for SC/ST students on Data Entry Operations under the STEP4U Program

The department offers BTech course in Information Technology. The in take is 66 [6 lateral entries] per year.

The computing facilities in the department include 50 numbers of computers of which 24 are Intel P-IV based and the rest are Intel P-III based and LCD monitors. The Central Internet facility and the Web services of the college is available for students' use.

Software resources include popular Operating systems such as Linux, Novell Netware and Windows NT/2000 and a variety of compilers, etc.
