PROGRAMMING LAB

COMPUTER NETWORKING LAB

This laboratory was established in 2004 to assist the teaching and learning process. The computer networking lab can accommodate 40 students at a time and consists of 43 desktop computers, 1 LCD projector, 1 printer, and 1 scanner. This laboratory is principally used for computer networking laboratories. But it is also utilized for conducting object-oriented techniques lab, problem-solving using Python, and web application development.

WEB ENGINEERING LAB

The laboratory is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for students interested in web application development, mini-projects, data structures, and database management systems. Equipped with modern hardware and software resources, the laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility that provides students with the tools they need to succeed in today's highly competitive software industry. The laboratory provides students with access to a wide range of software tools and frameworks for web application development. Students can use integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, and NetBeans. In addition, the laboratory provides opportunities for students to work on mini-projects or major-projects related to web application development, software engineering, machine learning, and other related areas. Students can work individually or in teams to develop projects that demonstrate their skills in various areas such as web development, data analysis, and user interface design. The laboratory provides students with the necessary resources, including software tools and hardware, to complete their projects. The laboratory also provides students with a hands-on learning experience in data structures and algorithms. Students can use popular programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ to implement data structures such as linked lists, stacks, and queues. In addition, students can use popular algorithms such as sorting and searching algorithms to analyze data and optimize performance. Furthermore, students have access to popular database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. They can use these systems to design and implement databases, write SQL queries, and analyze data. Overall, the laboratory provides an excellent learning environment for students interested in web application development, mini/major-projects, data structures, and database management systems. PROJECT LAB

This lab was established in 2003. The objective of this laboratory is to provide the infrastructure for conducting the Major project works for the BTech Programs. The lab is equipped with state of the art servers, desktops and software. Computers in this lab run on operating systems such as Microsoft Windows 10, and Ubuntu 16.04. This state of the art lab supports the research activities and project development of the BTech students.

The seminar hall is a spacious and well-equipped venue designed to accommodate large groups of people for presentations, lectures, and seminars. The hall is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment, including microphones and projectors, to ensure that presentations are clear and engaging. DEPARTMENT LIBRARY

The Department has a well-established library with a reading room which is amply used by the staff and students. The library is equipped with a good number of textbooks and reference books in Computer Science and IT fields. The records of industrial training reports, university question papers, reports of seminars and projects are kept in the library and are made accessible to students. The students can borrow books and have access to Springer, Science Direct, IEEE digital libraries, e- books of Pearson and McGraw Hill and more than thousands of IT online journals from the department library. The department library is well stocked to meet the requirements of UG, PG as well as research students. Test books, print journals, project reports and seminar reports are available. Computerized catalogue and management system is also introduced The department library provides academic text books and reference books for faculty and students. The students can take a maximum of four books at a time. They have to return back the books at the end of the semester. Library of Information Technology department provides circulation (issue/return of library books and other study materials) facility to its users.
